Site Manager Warehousing (m/w/d) contract logistics

For our Location in Roosendaal (Netherlands) we are currently looking for a Site Manager Warehousing (m/w/d) contract logistics who has to assure consistency of the operations (incl. customer service team) for a warehouse site, including potential satellites within Roosendaal, in the most cost-effective and efficient way. From this basis the candidate will continue to work on executing, improving and optimizing the warehouse operations, support the implementation of new warehouse operations, in general ensure consistency in systems set-up and continuously identify productivity improvements in process and/or systems for the benefit of the warehouse operations and our customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the Röhlig Penske Logistics strategy and business plan and translate it to operational plan for the warehouse
  • Delivering financial and tactical KPI’s, translate data and analysis to operational plan
  • Support business quotations and manages warehousing implementations
  • Seeks and drives operational process improvements for existing customers
  • Direct and indirect people management of all staff working at the warehouse site.

 

Skills required

Education:

  • Completed HBO education in Supply Chain Management and at least 5 years of experience in operational management.

Management:

  • Leadership

  • Mentorship

  • Trouble shooting
  • Problem solving – complex / out the box
  • Planning and implementation

Customer interaction:

  • Communication skills
  • Presentable
  • Professional approach

Financial acumen:
